Electrospinning-modified Pt/CeO2 nano bandage as a promising therapy to reduce secondary brain injury

چکیده
Traumatic brain injury (TBI) continues to be a major contributor morbidity, disability, and mortality in all age groups. Initial damage is accompanied by acute irreversible primary the parenchyma, while subsequent secondary often progresses slowly over months years, thus providing window for therapeutic intervention. The most frequent case which happened excessive oxidative stress calcium release after injury. Although some traditional antioxidants have been clinically approved, efficacy far from satisfactory due their low ROS-scavenging efficiency, instability, toxicity, or inadequate penetration of blood-brain barrier. Moreover, combination Nanozyme based-bandage with Pt/CeO2 atom catalysis electrospinning nanofibers N-type voltage-gated channel blocker (SNX-185) predicted as promising potential novel reduce TBI. Therefore, duo could cut down morbidity rates because TBI future, noninvasively.

Traumatic brain injury is a serious global health problem with irreversible high morbidity and disability and Because of its unknown pathophysiological mechanisms, efficient therapeutic approaches to improve the poor outcome and long-term impairment of behavioral function are still remains lacking. The microglial cells are the resident macrophage cells of the brain and have M1/M2 phenotype, for...

OBJECTIVE To review novel therapeutic approaches in the treatment of severe traumatic brain injury. DESIGN Eighty-three studies were reviewed specific to the treatment of traumatic brain injury, in either experimental models or in patients. CONCLUSION Four therapeutic strategies appear to be the most promising approaches currently in clinical trials for severe traumatic brain injury: a) the...

This paper reviews the potential role of honey as a therapeutic antioxidant to reduce oxidative stress and improve cognitive ageing. All articles indexed to PubMed Central (PMC) were searched using the following key words: honey, antioxidant, memory and ageing. Honey is a natural insect-derived product with therapeutic, medicinal and nutritional values. Antioxidant properties of honey quench bi...
متن کاملCould Cord Blood Cell Therapy Reduce Preterm Brain Injury?
Major advances in neonatal care have led to significant improvements in survival rates for preterm infants, but this occurs at a cost, with a strong causal link between preterm birth and neurological deficits, including cerebral palsy (CP). Indeed, in high-income countries, up to 50% of children with CP were born preterm. The pathways that link preterm birth and brain injury are complex and mul...
